We wrapped up the summer by covering one of the biggest basketball events of the year — FIBA EuroBasket 2025 in Riga!
From 27 August to 14 September 2025, our team with OB4 van worked from Arena Riga, catching every moment from the opening group games to the final.
There were so many highlights, but these two stood out to us the most: Latvia’s 109-point game against Czechia, tying their EuroBasket scoring record, and Germany’s 88–83 victory over Turkey in the final.
Here’s a look behind the broadcast:
– Equipment split across 2 OB trucks
– 28 cameras in the final phase, including:
– 4 Super Slow-Motion cameras
– 1 Ultra Motion camera (300 fps)
– 2 Wireless camera systems (for Steadicam & Cinecam)
– 1 Above-the-Rim camera
– 1 SSM Rail camera
– 1 SSM Antelope Ground camera
– Spider Cam during the final stage
– Crane camera for dynamic arena shots
– 7 EVS operators ensuring top-tier replay coverage
In total — 31 games, thousands of moments, and a great team behind all of it.
A big thanks to FIBA Media, Stephanie Mignot, Stéphane Bouclier & Kerry Sheen Johnson for trusting us with this production and for the kind words and recognition for the end result. It means a lot to the whole team.
Also, many thanks to our partners Levira and Tomas Skamarocius and Go3 programme director Toms Circenis for the partnership throughout the tournament.
